Our country is facing a lot of uncertainty right now. It is affecting everyone in different ways. It’s been hard to see anything positive. We had 3 big events postponed. For me it’s been the stress of not being able to have my hair salon open. Brittany and Lindsey are laid off right now. The younger years, we faced many challenges with autism. We had many days that were uncertain. At times we felt isolated from the world. We were in survival mode as we are right now. We are choosing to have hope, keep positive, and take this time to be grateful for what we do have. This is a perfect time to take advantage of our time off . Brittany narrated the children’s book on our facebook page, and Lindsey narrated the book in Spanish. Kids are home from school looking for things to read. I encourage families to listen. Brittany has a zumba video on our facebook page. Dance is great for mind, body, and soul. We are now bringing Lindsey’s art show to you online; you can purchase her art at autismlm.com
In the future we will be doing Q and A about autism and mental health on facebook live. Stay tuned!
