Speech At UWRF

We had a really fun group last night at UWRF. This class is future educators. We walked in and watched and listened to the students read children’s books to the class. I felt so much pride thinking about the many teachers, therapist, parents, and grandparents that will be reading the Little Lindsey Haircut book. The book will help children understand autism. The class had already read our first book. Autism: A Family Lives Beyond the Label. I think it’s great when they get a chance to read the book before meeting us. They seem to have more questions. We love that open decision time. It’s always nice to walk out and feel like we made a difference. Last night we did make a difference. We continue our mission. Live, Survive, Thrive autism.
